- Creating an environment for disabled individuals to co-exist with the rest of society in an equal manner
- Access to the right facilities for carrying out day-to-day functions with ease and efficiency
- Provide high-quality care and assistance through our team of experts for NDIS participants
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a program run by the Government of Australia to improve the quality of life for individuals with disability, bringing them security, convenience, and the required assistance. We provide three types of support covered by the NDIS Disability services:
- Permanent/significant disability:
This NDIS service takes care of any significant disability that can have a substantial impact on the participant’s ability to carry out everyday activities. - Supports and services:
NDIS support services take care of supplying materials of assistance or services to help a person lead a normal daily life. These include community programs to increase interactions with their local community, transport assistance, NDIS accommodation etc. - Early intervention:
Early intervention entails giving support to a child or adult at the early stages of disability. This reduces the disability’s impact or helps cope with developmental delays. This includes cognitive development, behavioural therapy, etc. to help them build skills and independence.
Whether you are in Sunshine, North Melbourne, Deer Park, West Melbourne, or Caroline Springs, Accessibility Care supports NDIS participants who are looking for a little extra help to lead a quality life. We strive to give qualitative services to those who are differently-abled and intellectually challenged. As a registered NDIS provider, we have a team of experts who are trained in offering NDIS assistance to all ages and genders for different types of disabilities.
NDIS has set certain qualifying requirements for an individual to be considered for coverage under NDIS support services.
Participants need to be between the ages of 7 to 65 years. For children below 7, the Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) is used. Trained Early Childhood partners assess the disability to determine the type of intervention required. Early childhood partners help the child cope with the present delayed development issues and put the right checks in place to avoid further complications. For the elderly over 65 years, various other state-run welfare programs can assist them with NDIS requirements.
