How do Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) help NDIS Participants?
Under NDIS, certified exercise physiologists offer services to improve the health of people with disabilities within the capacity-building budget. AEPs assess and design safe and effective training interventions for NDIS participants which increases their ability to perform daily tasks and activities with greater ease.
What Type of NDIS Participants Do Our Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) help?
AEPs are qualified allied health professions with the knowledge and skills to plan and evaluate effective exercise interventions for NDIS participants. For example, EPAs can help people with progressive neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and motor neuron disease. They also help people with acquired or traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, autism, chronic fatigue syndrome, and Down syndrome etc.
